** Sorry the picture quality is trash, the movie is so old!
Quick Synopsis
Amy Bradshaw is a D.E.B.S. secret spy along with her team of 3 other girls. Lucy Diamond is an incredibly dangerous villain who's wanted by every agency you can think of... including the D.E.B.S. As the poster child of the D.E.B.S. program, Amy (and of course her team) is chosen to stakeout a restaurant Lucy is said to be dining in alongside a quirky blonde Russian assassin in order to do some sort of villainous exchange and whatnot, but nope!

Turns out, it was a date!
Either way, Amy's ex-boyfriend (who she just broke up with because she just doesn't feel like she's in love... spoiler, it's because she's gay) talks to Amy and drops a bracelet into Lucy's soup. Oh, did I mention they're sitting on swings attached to the ceiling? It's weird. Anyways, bracelet drops, Lucy looks up, realizes she's being watched, and the encounter begins! They have a shoot out, and long story short, Amy ends up face to face with Lucy in a secluded room away from her team. Neither of them shoots each other, and they have a nice conversation? It's a tender moment. Amy ends up letting Lucy go, but Lucy can't stop thinking about Amy, and she knows Amy felt something for her too! SO, Lucy goes to the house where Amy's team (and Amy) are staying, and persuades her to come with her? "Persuades" isn't exactly correct but whatever, HOWEVER, Amy's spy comrade is forced to come to because she was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm going to speed this up and say long story short, Amy and Lucy fall in love (of course), Amy stays with Lucy but everyone thinks she's kidnapped, although they're just vibing together at Lucy's place, but unfortunately the D.E.B.S. girls find out and Amy is in big trouble! Watch to find out what happens next!! Do they get to stay together? Or will their love story be cut short? Sorry, no spoilers here!

Official Review
This movie is legendary. It's hilarious, and cute, and quirky. I've said this a million times but I'll say it again, it's the perfect 2000s teen movie! I really feel like it gave queer women a movie just for them in the early 2000s, as to how many other movies featured lesbians before, like 2015? Not popular ones... maybe a few. I don't know! Point is, the acting is not the absolute best ever, but that's the appeal! The fashion is so on

point for the year, the characters are all so, so unique and amazing, the boys are pretty good too especially for a movie with a female focus (ha get it, it's like the blog name), and OH MY GOD I almost forgot, it has a male/female secondary relationship! That really seals the deal for how natural this movie makes lesbianism feel, it was never saying "only gay girls, that's the only love that matters" or whatever, it was just highlighting it while still recognizing other types of love! If that makes any sense, everything just felt so natural and not forced, which can only be attributed to a queer female director. I'm telling you guys, female directors are actual GODS with wlw movies. This is the perfect sleepover movie/movie to watch when you're sad, or when you're happy, it's just such a feel-good movie. Who doesn't love 2000s romcoms anyways!
Cast/Heartthrobs
I swear to god, the cast is perfect, all of them are crush-worthy. We've got Sara Foster as Amy Bradshaw, who's personally not my type, but she's hot as hell. Also maximum 2000s vibes. Jordana Brewster as Lucy Diamond, on the other hand, is EXACTLY my type. The dark hair, rebellion, initiative in a relationship, she's sexy as hell. I'm in love. Meagan Good as Max Brewer (one of the D.E.B.S. girls) is definitely more of a strict leader type of gal, but she's drop-dead gorgeous and her sass and confidence is amazing. Lastly, although Lucy is perfect, Devon Aoki as Dominique is GOD TIER. Her French accent is soooo sexy, and she's constantly smoking cigarettes, which I know are so bad for you but it's literally so hot. She's next level, I love her so damn much.
